“The cure for the common car”
Site Search
The ‘64 ½ project came to Mike from his grandfather. His grandfather had wanted a Mustang his entire life, and in 1985, he purchased this car becoming it’s second owner. After that the car went to Mike’s grandmother, then in 2005, Mike became it’s new owner.
Unfortunately the car has sat because of a lack of time to work on it; but that is all about to change. The next things on the agenda is to rebuild the carburetor and replace the 45 year old brake lines with some new stainless steel lines.
This car is fully optioned from the factory. It came with air-conditioning, power steering, a D-code 4 bbl 289 V8, & a Cruise-O-matic C4 transmission. When Mike got the car, it over-heated drastically due to a plugged radiator and upper hose collapsing. It has since had most of the major cooling system parts replaced.
